Epic Games is back with another antitrust lawsuit against Google, this time also involving Samsung.
They're accusing both companies of working together to block third-party app stores on Samsung devices. The lawsuit highlights Samsung’s “Auto Blocker” feature, which makes it really hard for users to install apps from sources outside the official app store — like Epic’s own store — unless they go through a frustrating process to disable it. Epic says this is just a way to protect Google and Samsung’s app store profits.

Epic Games Store only takes a 12% cut from developers, compared to the “industry standard” 30%. Auto Blocker features make it tough for users to access stores like Epic’s, which forces developers to stick to the big app stores and pay that hefty 30% commission. This eats into their profits and can lead to more expensive games and in-game content for gamers.
